Plugin to keep track of the publish events of an article
In the standard WoodWing Aurora publishing there is no tracking of the publish events. The publish is like a black-box, you publish and the article is send out without any confirmation or tracking. Because of this it is also impossibe to see if an article was already published or to where. (CMS)
With the af.PublishHistory Plugin from GloveLike the publish event will be noted and saved in the database. This publish History can then be viewed in ContentStation or used for system events, for example to archive only the published articles to Elvis.
Direct link to published article on CMS
In a more advanced integration it is possible to let the CMS inform the af.PublishHistory about the actual state of the publish. This will make the publish event no longer a black-box event, but really shows to the user in ContentStation if the article was succesfully published.
A often used and user specific integration is to make a link from the af.PublishHistory directly to the CMS. This will require some additional coding in the CMS-code. With this close integration, you can by clicking the link the published article will directly be opened in the CMS.
